‘Haven’ : retreat, sanctuary, oasis

The Haven is just that – a place of peace and seclusion with views over the Tay to the Sidlaw Hills and beyond, yet close to Scotland’s ‘must visit’ city of discovery, Dundee, with its iconic V&A Museum, and the historic seaside town of St Andrews.

Whether you want to discover your surroundings and the history of the area, by car, by foot or on a bike, you’ll enjoy this little haven as your base. To make absolutely sure that your day starts and ends well, we’ve given a lot of thought to your comfort.

Our fully renovated and modernised stone-built cottage dates back to the 1800s. It retains its cottage feel and character with wood burning stoves in the sitting room and the recently-built sun room. The private gardens with seating areas to both front and rear provides all round sunshine so that you can enjoy an energising breakfast in the morning right through to a blissful sunset in the evening.

Then, when you retire indoors, we’ve got connectivity and entertainment covered with wifi, TV/DVD/CD hifi system and speaker dock. Or, for a complete escape from technology, explore our small library of books and games.
